Marine life and plastic pollution

           Plastic pollution affects saline throughout the ocean. Over the years it is estimated that up to 13 million metric tons of plastic end up in the ocean each year. The equivalent of garbage trucks loads every minute. Plastic degree injures and kills fish seabirds and marine mammals. Fish, sea turtles and marine animals can become entangled in or ingest plastic debris causing suffocation, starvation, and drowning.

14 year old Daphne Murillo made this artwork in order to introduce this very important topic to the teens of her generation.

  This art to compel to his audience the idea that every form of ocean life is being affected no matter how big or how small.He also mentioned that he used a very precise contrast technique in order to make the plastic colors standout.

       The name of the author who made this artwork was not mentioned but it really caught my attention especially the monster made out of plastic debris it just goes to show how vile and corruptive plastic is to our environment .Although the name of the author was not mentioned I am very grateful for the artist to have shown and shared great peace of artwork.
